KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MPA Rubina Qaimkhani’s 16-years old son Hamza Qaimkh
ani was killed in a road accident on Friday.
Investigation team said that initial probing revealed that due to over s
peeding, Hamza Qaimkhani’s vehicle overturned near Village Restaurant on Karachi’s Sea View Road.
After the accident, police and rescue of
ficials rushed to the spot. The 16-year-old was rushed to a hospital where he breathed his last. His acquaintance is also admit
ted in the hospital and remains in a very critical condition.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Home Minister Suhail Anwer Sial also visited Qaimkhani’s residence to offer condolence.
Home Minister Suhail Anwer Sial ordered DIG Traffic Imran Yaqoob Minhas to submit a report on the accident.
Hamza Qaimkhani’s funeral prayers will be held today in Hyderabad.
