KARACHI: A police
team investigating Naqeebullah
Mehsud’s alleged encounter is ex
pected to leave for Islamabad on Wednesday to locate and a
rrest former Senior Superintendent Police (SSP).
On Tuesday, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) foiled the former SSP’s attempt to leave the country from Benazir International Airport in the nation’s capital, while the officials say that the suspended SSP has not returned to Karachi yet.
Sindh Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Sultan Khawaja ensured that all necessary measures are being taken to a
rrest Rao Anwar after a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against him.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also said that slain Naqeebullah
Mehsud would be served justice soon and that extrajudicial killings would not be tolerated in the province.
