oint resistance leadership, comprising of Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik, has announced to observe Kashmir Resistance Day on Friday.
In a statement in Srinagar, the leadership called for a co
mplete shutdown in order to
protest the biased death sentence decision by a court in Kolkata against Mu
zaffar Ahmad Rather of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
The statement said that
protesting against injustice, oppression and aggression is a just right of the Kashmiris, while urging international community to play its role in savi
ng Kashmiris from onslaught of India and its judiciary.
