MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi sai
d that the constitution prohibits people from criticising members of the judiciary and the armed forces on Saturday.
Speaking to journalists in Multan, he sai
d that any individual who criticises the armed forces and judiciary of the country must review their action and words. The PTI leader also referred to the Supreme Court’s d
ecision on the Panama
case ‘historic’.

Qureshi further sai
d that he had predicte
d that an interim premier will not appoint a 47-member cabinet, unless the prime minister will stay till the next general ele
ctions.
He also sai
d that Shahbaz Sharif was not nominated for the prime minister’s position because of NAB references against him and, with him becoming prime minister; a race would have started within the party for the position of chief minister Punjab.
Qureshi also claime
d that Shahbaz Sharif wanted his son, Hamza Shahbaz, to become the provincial chief minister, however, Nawaz’s camp within the PML-N did not agree with the proposal.
