osazai said more than half the population of Peshawar are deprived of qual
ity basic facilities including proper sa
nitation systems and roads.
He criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its Clean Peshawar drive. He added that the bad sa
nitation and worn out roads are issues t
hat have not been addressed while the clean up drives t
hat have been initiated are a façade in front of the already helpless public.

osazai also said that the majority of population don’t have access to a clean water supply for drinking, health and basic education facilities. He added that during the last four yea
rs the KP government could not provide Water and Sa
nitation Services Peshawar (WSSP) facilities to the entire city, handing over sa
nitation services to private contractors who had also failed to provide any positive results.
